Qualitative Data - This is data collected through considering why people like a certain music video due to their values and attitudes. It considers why and how someone might like or dislike their product.
Quantitative Data - This is data collected in a more systematic manner, it is less personal and based more around facts and statistics.
Demographic Data - This is used to create a profile of people to market a project to, usually based on gender (due to the different way men and women think), age (due to the products we use when one is young or old) and social class (people can have a higher disposable income.) Demographics are mainly facts and statistics.
Psychographic Data - This is used to collect data about an audience's personality, values, attitudes, interests and lifestyles. It is usually used for marketing purposes and can be gathered through several methods such as an interview or questionnaire.
